MISSION

WE ARE COMPASSIONATE FAMILY AND INDIVIDUAL SERVICES

CFIS is a registered 501c3 Non-profit organization rooted in service and empowerment. We build relationships with families and Individuals facing poverty and or homelessness and assist them in their efforts to achieve Self-actualization while providing the tools to develop and sustain long term independence.

Compassionate Family and Individual Services Inc (CFIS) was established in 2015 to address the growing Poverty crisis in New York city and Long Island. Our programs are inspired by Christian values however we value and appreciate other religious and cultural traditions.

VISION

AT CFIS

We help families, children and individuals in targeted at-risk New York neighborhoods who are homeless or in danger of being homeless to succeed and thrive.

We first address any immediate basic and or safety concerns of those in our care,

We then listen to the stories of those we are in partnership with, in an effort to build a trusting positive relationship so we are then allowed to help each individual or family develop a comprehensive approach to offering services that will provide the best specific care for them.

AT CFIS

WE then assist our partners in meeting their needs and acquiring a sense of wellbeing and the ability to provide and maintain a safe sustainable environment.

WE fight for the rights of and speak for those who have no voice of their own.

WE believe everyone has the right to a safe environment to live and thrive in.

AT CFIS

WE believe everyone has the right to be free from sexual, emotional, or physical abuse, as well as the right to be free from exploitation. Everyone has the right to be safe and most importantly to be loved.

WE make a difference by Touching Hearts, Transforming Lives, and Instilling hope in the lives & spirits of those entrusted to our care, so they can reach their full potential one person and family at a time.
